The Gate’s website had evolved organically over time and was due for both a visual and structural refresh. While it still conveyed the core offering, the design no longer aligned with the brand’s evolving identity, and several areas, particularly navigation and mobile usability, needed refinement. There was also an opportunity to strengthen user journeys, elevate key information, and highlight calls to action more effectively. The redesign introduced a modern, polished aesthetic while staying true to the brand’s character. Rounded UI elements, a more considered colour palette, and refined typography created a warmer, more contemporary feel. On the development side, the site architecture was streamlined, content hierarchy improved, and the mobile menu reworked to deliver a more intuitive experience across all devices. Newsletter signups were elevated into distinct, purpose-built components and integrated with Mailchimp to support audience growth. Navigation was restructured across both the header and footer to emphasise high value content, while new pages were added to enhance discoverability and SEO. Existing links were cleaned up, and key sections were refined to provide clearer guidance and more meaningful next steps for visitors.

tl;dr

Refreshed and restructured a Webflow site with a more modern design, clearer navigation, improved mobile UX, and better visibility for CTAs and newsletter signups.
